March 16, 2010- Walnut cove, NC based company Stokes Foods, Inc. announced today that an agreement has been executed between its company and Columbus Gourmet, Inc. providing, according to Bill Cobb, Managing Director of Stokes Foods, "a strategic effort to scale sales of our products to Retail and Food Service Markets allowing us the ability to focus on Farming Efficiency, Quality Control and the Development of Organic Farming." The agreement provides Columbus Gourmet the exclusive right to market, process and sell the Stokes Purple® brand for the retail and food service markets in an effort to scale both the volume and brand recognition in the food industry.
